Today I woke up hungry. I am returning to my rule of not eating past 7p.m.. It is a mind game really. You feel hunger while your going about your night time routine. Getting past it and knowing you really are not going to die from the little bit of change in your chemistry is what you must repeat not where are my snacks.<br />

My point...toughing it out payed off. <br />

This morning the scale read 290lbs.<br />
<br />
I did a mid day work out yesterday of stretching and a mile and a half walk. I also kept my calorie intake sensible. <br />
<br />
Do not give up. I want to see the scale say 280lbs.<br />

<a name='more'></a>Tara Stiles is a great yogi to follow in that she has a "no rules" philosophy to her teaching. She encourages you to work with your body. Trust your instincts and let your body tell you how far to take the moves. You may not get all that information from this single video but you will see the theme I mentioned as you watch her collection of you tube vignettes. Tonight I worked this routine aware that I am 300 plus pounds and my body responded kindly to the stretch within limits. For example my downward dog was modified to a lesser lunge and my leg although it went above my pelvis did not reach the same angle as demonstrated. The overall feeling when I finished was positively relaxed and the tension in my shoulders had decreased. I will revisit this routine this week. </div>

Yeah ...No I am pretty sure I do that all on my own. My phone's photo library is full of attempts to create healthy dishes. The collection of photos does not reveal the drive-thru excursions, alcohol intake, late night eating, sitting on my rump most days not exercising, if I was to now confess a few judgement calls.<br />

When do I start? My mouth has said I will start many times. I have only really tried to loose weight once with full commitment. I was successful at loosing 60 pounds. My ability to change is within me.<br />
<br />
My blog will be a record of my journey, a motivator, a watcher of my ways, and a place to let me be kind to myself. The fact is I have been hurting my self for years and the weight is proof of that behavior.<br />
<br />
I will allow my honest efforts to be presented and calibrate accordingly. This can be funny but it will not be a joke. There is nothing humorous about a corpse, cold with death, smelling of overworked organs, suffocated by excessive fat tangled by a maze of weak arteries.<br />
<br />
When it is my time, I want to be a coroner's unreasonable choice. Dead sexy!<br />
