284 not a pound more

Today my weight is 284lbs. the size of more than one person essentially.


I started out right with a warm cup of lemon water with a drop of local honey. A few hours later I made a favorite Avacado toast. The key is to get up and move today as well. I know what to do I just need to do the work.

Exercise

Today I woke up hungry. I am returning to my rule of not eating past 7p.m.. It is a mind game really. You feel hunger while your going about your night time routine. Getting past it and knowing you really are not going to die from the little bit of change in your chemistry is what you must repeat not where are my snacks.

My point...toughing it out payed off.

This morning the scale read 290lbs.

I did a mid day work out yesterday of stretching and a mile and a half walk. I also kept my calorie intake sensible.

Do not give up. I want to see the scale say 280lbs.

I can do this!

292lbs.

Today the scale says three pounds gone. Not a great week. I know I can do better.
Plan to start more indoor exercises so rain cannot be the excuse. Here in Florida if I let rain delay be a choice I will not work out until September.

21 pounds gone!

When I weighed 316 two months ago.

Looking down at the number on the scale, I still disconnect from me. The reality creeped in some or I would not be reporting my loss. Nothing intense just mindful of food choices and stepping up my activity. The real work has not even begun. The movement needed to be truly active again.
DO not count me out.

Bike ride

Yesterday I completed a 2.31 mile bike ride and it really made me feel the stiffness in my joints. Realized that I need to rebuild strength around my knees up through my quads. A good exercise in cardio, body awareness, and fresh air along the way. Let us see what the day brings...
