one oven baked egg

this morning i rose and had an oven baked egg on a toasted english muffin yum dandy.
then i did a hand washed load of dishes.
followed by a rufus wainwright stretch and then kick show number
i need to buy dance shoes.
oh and show stockings

not eating after a certian time of day

pick a time any time
i have done well with nothing after 7p.m.
9pm used to be my norm back in miami midnight dinners are common
i find my weight change when i let me system rest before sleeping ..have most of my food burned off
you wake up hungry ready for breakfast with more energy throughout the day.

clocked 5 miles today

after ten a.m. and i still have not fed my body. starting my metabolism off right each day is important. oatmeal is my best choice. fruit, cheese, toast anything will be better than letting my blood sugar drop and my energy drain. so i am off to grab my morning break- fast

Stetching and posture

This holiday weekend i did slack on the daily workout but benfited from my bodies natural desire to stretch the tightening muscles. Lengthening and stregthening i have heard it called. My core is gaining strength from the floor work and my posture is a top of my head routine again. Happy to be growing in this practice.

i have followed her lead and have found them to be a big factor in my results.

think portions.

when your body eats half a sandwich it digests better less work on all the organs it takes to break down foods.
then a few hours later eat the other half.
this will change your metabolism and increase your energy.
less highs and lows and more regulated blood sugar levels

look at how much soda is in a can 12 oz
a serving is really less than half the can you open

3oz. of meat is rarely the portion you get when eating out.
most restruant meals shoukd be cut in half to have proper healthy portions.

changing your portions changes your view on eating

eating better

forcing my self to see the value in spending a little more on quality foods to improve my overall health. Maintaining and losing weight are sciences. i find my system works best with a good breakfast a sensible lunch and a light dinner fare.

feeling the burn

the morning was not the best with rain in the sky and the grey clouds holding me back from pure excitment of doing a workout. i did however accomplish the task with an indoor 2 mile walking video. Wakling off the Pounds with Leslie so and so.
Do.. like the pace.. and it is a no brainer just do the work and you did your workout.

judy my workout buddy has found or i should say lost 6 pounds and now has a motivation i long for. i will get it soon enough.

i am at a diffferent place than she in that i am barely breaking a sweat at two miles. i have to make it one of my workouts for the day. my peace always comes in the dance. so dance i say.

also the workout must incorporate these great alternatives to avoid stale rountines.

i do feel more definiton from the floor exercises i have already made a part of the rountine.

13 miles this week

i walked 13miles and started doing a series of leg lift exercises to tone after my walks. this simple addition has made me feel my buttocks for sure. baby steps to new curves. my weigh in was 253lbs this week. i hope to register in the low two hundreds in a matter of months..let me just say now the goal in April is to be 40 lbs lighter.
